Be honest
Truthfulness comes first in Nārada’s list of qualities. Keep your word, in large things and small.
Nārada Muni begins his list in the Bhāgavatam with truthfulness. Say what is so, keep the promises you make, and if you cannot keep one, say that early. People trust a devotee who is reliable far more than one who talks well.
