Be kind to every living being
Non-violence and compassion for all living beings are among the divine qualities. Do no unnecessary harm.
Kṛṣṇa lists non-violence and compassion for all beings among the divine qualities, and the Gītā also counts non-violence as an austerity of the body. Take care with how you treat people, animals and the world you live in. Small kindnesses are practice for the bigger ones.
