Speech and mind

Keep some time in silence

Silence is one of the qualities Nārada lists for a good life. Give a little of each day to it.

Among the qualities Nārada Muni describes in the Bhāgavatam is silence. It does not have to be long: a few minutes at the start or end of the day, with the phone away, and your attention on the Lord or on your breath. Speech is better for the rest it has had.
