Be tolerant when provoked
Tolerance is one of the qualities of knowledge. Let small insults pass, and do not answer every provocation.
Not everything said to you needs an answer. Tolerance is on Kṛṣṇa’s list of the qualities that go with knowledge, and it means being able to bear insult and dishonor from others. When someone provokes you, pause before you answer, and let the small things pass.
