Keep company that supports your practice
Spend time with people who encourage your devotion, and step away from company that pulls you from it.
We become like those we spend time with. The Nectar of Instruction counts keeping the company of devotees, and giving up the company that works against devotion, among the things that bring success. You can do this without any ill will toward others: simply choose, when you can, who you spend your free hours with.
