Do not step over anyone
Do not step or reach over people, especially someone who is sitting or offering obeisances.
Walk around a person instead of over them, and ask quietly to pass if there is no room. This matters most in the temple room, where people are sitting, bowing and praying. It is a small courtesy that shows respect for the devotee beside you as well as for the Deity.
