Keep the temple quiet
Speak softly, if at all. Do not shout, quarrel or hold loud conversations before the Deity.
People come to the temple for stillness, and a loud voice takes it from them. The Nectar of Devotion warns against speaking loudly, chatting, crying out and quarreling before the Deity. Temple guidelines add a simple rule: keep noise to a minimum, most of all near the sanctum.
